NOTICE: “UFO Welcome Parade” Posters Not Authorized And Not Funny To Everyone
Strange posters are appearing all over town. Who is behind this?
To the residents of Duskmoor,
Over the past few days, a number of unauthorized posters have appeared around town promoting a fictional event called the “UFO Welcome Parade.” According to the flyers, the parade includes:
A “tractor beam demonstration” behind the library
A costume contest for “Best Extraterrestrial Entity”
And a 7:00 PM “Light Show in the Sky” (weather permitting)
We can confirm there is no such event planned or permitted, and these posters are not town-sanctioned.
While some may see this as a harmless prank, others in our community, especially those who’ve lived here a long time, feel differently. With Duskmoor’s history of strange disappearances near the woods, this kind of joke hits a little too close to home for some.
Regardless of intent, posting unauthorized materials is a violation of town ordinance 12.4-B, and our department is currently investigating. If you saw anyone putting up posters late at night or have any information, we’d appreciate your help.
We all enjoy a little mystery here in Duskmoor, but let’s keep it respectful.
